1972[]
A woman named Evelyn has been rapped by Sacrament Valley's priest named Galen Burke and become pregnent.
Burke lock Evelyn in his church's basment for 8 monthes.
1973[]
Evelyn is able to eascape the basment and giving birth to a baby girl.
Evelyn named the girl Samara.
Evelyn taking Samara to a monastery and the two lives there.
When Evelyn tries to give Samara a bath, the girl starts to cry and develope a fear from water.
Evelyn realize Samara has Telepathic powers and Samara start's talking to her Telepathicly , asking her mother to drown her.
Evelyn tries to drown her child, but the nuns are able to stop her.
Evelyn is sent to a mental hospital and Samara is placed for adoption.
1974[]
Richard and Anna morgen adopt Samara and take her to their home on Moesko Island.
During this time, Richard is a horse breeder and Anna is Competitive horse rider.
Between 1975 to 2002[]
Samara graw up and start to learn about her Telepathic powers, but is unable to control them.
Samara start to jealous of the family's horses and starts to sending horrific images to their brains using Telepathy.
The horses on the Morgen's ranch starts to commit suicide by drowning themselves.
Anna starts to see strange images in her mind because of Samara and Richard locks the girl in a tiny room in their barn.
Samara is unable to sleep so her parents sends her to a mental hospital, where Samara confess she cant control her powers.
During a family trip to Shelter Mountain, Anna is pushing Samara to an open well, later commiting suicide by jumping off a cliff.
Samara is able to survive in the well for seven days. She's trying to climb outside, but fail and dies inside.
Samara is turned into a vengeful spirit and with her powers she's able to record a series of disturbing images on a video tape,
Samara's curse is borm.
An inn is been built on Shelter Mountain and a cabin is been built over the well.
Samara is able to send her tape outside the well and start to spred her curse.
2002[]
The events of "The Ring" takes place:[]
A teenage girl named Katie Embry watchs the tape with her boyfriend josh.
A week later, during a sleepover with her friend Becca, Katie is been killed by Samara.
During her funarel, Katie's aunt, a reporter named Rachel is asked by Katie's mom Ruth to investagt what killed her daughter.
Rachel learns about Katie's vaction on Shelter Mountain inn and rent a cabin there, In the reception table she's find the cursed tape and watch it, getting cursed.
Rachel, assisted by her ex boyfriend Noah, start to investaget the tape's origin.
Aidan, Rachel and Noah's son watch the tape.
Rachel visits Moesko Island and asks Richard about his wife, but he shuts her off and sands her away.
Noah is able to break in the records room of the mental hospital, where's Anna been comitted to learn about the tape and later travles to Moesko Island himself.
Rachel breaks in the Morgen's house and watch an interview with young Samara. After the interveiw is over, Richard realise that Samara's powers on the loss and commit suidie.
Rachel and Noah travel to Shelter Mountain Inn and disvover the well under the cabin.
Rachel fall into the well and find Samara's remains.
Between the movie "The Ring" and "Rings (2017)"[]
Samara's remains are sent to Moesko Island, but the residents there don't want to bury her on the island so the remains are sent to Sacrament Valley.
Galen Burke hides the remains behind his house walls and the residents of Sacrament Valley bury an emepty casket (without their knowladge).
The events of "The Ring" takes place:[]
Samara's ghost kills Noah.
Rachel realise she was saved because she made a copy of the cursed video tape.
Rachel helps Aidan make a copy of the cursd tape and pass it on, saving him from death.
Between the events of "The Ring" and "The Ring 2"[]
The events of "Rings (Short Film)"takes place:[]
The cursed tape was spread and people started challenge themselves to watch it, make it to day seven and make a copy to show someone else.
A subculture dediacted to the tape has been formed and the people watching the tape are called "Rings".
Between the films, Samara's ghost tries to look for a mother for herself and takes control over servel children, but Unsuccessful.[1]
2005[]
Six months after the events of "The Ring":[]
Rachel and Aiden left Seattle and moved to Astoria,
Rachel started working on The Daily Astorian, a local newspaper under the editor Max Rourke.
Jack Pierce, a highschool student who's living in Astoria is been challenged by his friend Venessa to watch the tape and record his experience.
Jack make a copy of the tape and tries to give it to Eddy, the guy who's support to watch it to save Jack. But Eddy (under Venessa's pressure) refuse.
The events of "The Ring 2" takes place:[]
On his seventh day, Jack tricks Emily, a girl from his school to wach the tape.
Emily is afraid to watch the tape and Jack's time is over. Samara kills him.
Rachel learns about Jack death, breaking into his house and burns Samara's tape,
Samara's ghost take control of Aidan body.
Aidan develope Hypothermia. Rachel and Max rush him to the hospital.
Rachel goes back to Moesko Island and is able to find Samara's birth certificate in the Morgen's basmant.
Rachel goes to the monastery and learn about Evelyn.
During this time, Samara (using Aidan's body) is able to escape the hospital and break into Max's house.
Max returns to his house, find Aidan there and tries to take a picture of him (As Rachel asked him to).
Samara kills Max and put his corpse in his car.
Rachel goes to the mental hpospital and meets the old Evelyn (who knew she would come as many other women did), who tell her to "listen to her baby".
Rachel travel back to Max' house and find his corpse in his car.
Guided by a vision from Aidan, Rachel drugs Aidan with sleeping pills and take his body to the tub, tries to drown him to make Samara leave his body.
Samara's ghost leaves Aident body and take Rachel to the tape's dark world.
Inside the tape's world, Rachel wake up inside the well and realise that the lid is always open.
Rachel climb the well's wall and close the lid, trap Samara inside. Later, Rachel is able to come back to the real world and reunite with Aidan.
Between the events of "The Ring 2" and Rings (2017)[]
2013[]
During a flight from Seattle, a man reveled he watched the cursed video and today is the seventh day. Samara is able to kill him and the entire plain passengers by crashing the plain.
2015[]
The man's vcr (with the cursed video tape inside it) is put on yard sale and is bought by proffesor Gabriel Brown.
Gabriel learns about the curse, make a copy of the video and spread it, saving himself from dathe.
The curse is still active and the cursed video is converted into a viral video and spread over the internet.
Gabriel create "The Sevens" club in the collage he's teaching in and makes his students watch the cursed video and record their experience.
The events of "Rings" (2017) takes place:[]
Holt goes to collage and says goodbye to his girlfriend Julia.
Holt joins the Sevens club.
A student named Skye calls Julia and demend to know where Holt is.
Julia travles to the collage to search for Holt.
Skye, who's on her seven day, try to make Julia watch the video.
Julia hides in Skye's bathroom and Samara kills Skye.
Holt comes to Skye apartment and takes Julia to Gabriel's house.
Julia decide to wach Holt's copy to save him (as he watch the video as well) but her copy is diffrent from the others and shows new images.
As the phone rings, Julia's hand is burned by it and the phone leave a mark on her hand, resemble Braille.
Julia and Holt goes to Sacrament Valley to learn about Samara.
Gabriel stays behind and translate the sign on Julia's hand.
Gabriel travel to Sacrament Valley, but on his way he's dying in a car aacident.
Julia and Holt search for Samara's remains and meet Galen Burke.
Julia investigate the local church and find it's basemant, realise that Evelyn was imprisond there.
Julia return to Galen Burke, reveling what she's learn and he attacks her, reveling that he is Samara's father.
Samara is able to transport herself from the tape's world to the real world using Julia's smartphone and kills Galen.
Julia and Holt goes back home and Holt hear a recording Gabriel left for him.
Holt translete the sign on Julia's hand, it's mean "rebirth".
Julia realise that Samara was rebirth using her body and the cuese is able to spread itself on the internet by itself.
