Yuri Kurahashi
Yuri Kurahashi (倉橋ゆり) is the main protagonist of the crossover film Sadako vs Kayako, played by Mizuki Yamamoto. She and her friend Natsumi were watching Sadako's videotape, but Yuri received a message on the phone and didn't watch the video.
Appearance & Personality[]
Her skin is white with long hair. She was caring and loving as she was ready to take Sadako and Kayako's curses for her friends. She is also strong and self-sufficient, though she suffers kind of a breakdown after Natsumi's death.

Death[]
She stands on the well, Sadako and Kayako follow her, when they reach near her, she jumps. Kayako and Sadako smash into each other, creating a very powerful soul. Yuri's eye sheds a single tear after which the powerful soul kills her. We never hear Yuri screaming, but after Sadakaya comes out, Yuri may already be dead.

Natsumi Ueno[]
She and Natsumi are best friends and they watch Sadako's tape though Yuri does not see towards it. Natsumi is affected by the curse and tries to kill herself but Sadako comes an Yuri tries to free Natsumi but it is too late.
Suzuka Takagi[]

Yuri and Natsumi met only in Kayako's house and the well near it. They both also see Sadako and Kayako's fight in the house. Suzuka lived next to Kayako's house.
Trivia[]
- Though being the protagonist Yuri wasn't the last to die. Or rather being a protagonist never lives.
- Yuri is one of the most selfless characters in Ringu or Ju-On franchises as she would take the curse herself to help others. She also dies for saving the others.
- Yuri is the indirect cause of Sadakaya's formation and eventually Suzuka's death.
- Though highly doubted, Yuri may still be alive.
